Each year, I am honored to serve as the Principal of Willowbrook Middle School. This fall marks the beginning of my 16th year in education, and I genuinely believe there’s no better place to do this important work than right here at WMS.
My journey in education began in this very building, where I had the privilege of starting my teaching career. Over the course of nine years at Willowbrook, I gained invaluable experiences that inspired me to pursue leadership. I then spent three years as an Assistant Principal at Stephen Mack Middle School in Rockton before returning to WMS as Principal. It feels incredibly special to lead a school that has meant so much to my professional growth and personal journey.
On a personal note, I grew up in the Roscoe area, graduated from Hononegah High School, and have lived in the Prairie Hill School District for many years. My husband Kenny and I have been married for 17 years and are proud parents to Harrison (12), Reed (9), and Stella (7). Watching each of them grow and thrive while experiencing the excellence of this district firsthand is truly special.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue working alongside the dedicated staff, students, and families of this incredible community. My mission is to create a positive, inclusive learning environment where students succeed academically, develop the confidence to be their authentic selves, and grow into compassionate, responsible individuals.
Wishing everyone a school year full of learning, growth, and meaningful moments!
