The Prairie Hill School District is governed by an elected school board that is accountable for the schools in the district. They represent the diverse beliefs and values of the community. The main objectives of the board are:
Listening to the community
Making student achievement a priority
Advocating important K-8 policies for all students
Adopting and monitoring budgets
Ensuring accountability for student and district performance
Actively listening to public comments during school board meetings
Prairie Hill School District #133 meetings are typically held on the last Wednesday of the month. School board meetings are held in public, in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
