Prairie Hill Elementary School is looking for an energetic teacher to join our team as a long-term substitute beginning in August 2025. Qualified applicants would possess a passion for teaching elementary students. In addition, candidates must possess a valid Illinois Teaching or substitute certificate. 7. Actively collaborate with content teams and the Special Education Department to design curriculum and assessments appropriate for students of all ability levels.
8. Facilitate Response to Intervention Tier 2 and 3 instruction.
9. Participate in school improvement initiatives.
10. Participate in the problem-solving team process of MTSS, and implement SEL curriculum and Tier 1 and 2 Social/Emotional supports.
11. Inform parents and students of academic and behavioral progress, concerns, and long-range expectations.
12. Analyze student academic data to improve individual student and school-wide performance.

Prairie Hill Elementary School is looking to hire a paraprofessional. Responsibilities include:
Work effectively in a team environment, providing responsive instructional and behavioral support to assigned student(s) in the general education setting
Effectively communicate with teachers and administration
Assist student(s) with classroom activities under the direction of certified teacher
Assist with instructional accommodations and modifications designed by special and regular education teachers
Work with special education students in academic course curriculum as outlined by teacher(s)
Assist with the behavioral management system under the direction of the teacher, including daily charting of academic and/or behavioral progress
Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Candidates do not need the paraprofessional certification to start, but must be prepared to attain licensure within the first 40 school days and have a background check. Compensation is $15.75/hour with possible addition for experience, retirement incentives, paid sick and personal days.
