6-7th grade ELA/Elective Teacher (Willowbrook Middle School)
Willowbrook Middle School is looking for an energetic teacher to join our team beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. Qualified applicants would possess a passion for teaching English, Literature, and electives to middle school students grades 5th-8th. In addition, candidates must possess a valid Illinois Teaching Certificate with a Language Arts Endorsement. Job duties may include but are not limited to:
1. Actively supporting the mission of the school and district, "Students First, Always."
2. Create and maintain a safe classroom atmosphere that builds relationships with students while providing structure and routines conducive to learning.
3. Provide opportunities for all students to experience success, based upon their individual ability and potential.
4. Plan and implement lessons in accordance with the Illinois Standards for Language Arts.
5. Plan and implement lessons for an elective course agreed upon by the admin and teacher. Work with the curriculum coordinator to select appropriate standards with which to report student learning.
6. Assess, monitor, and report out on student progress through standards-referenced instruction and grading.
7. Actively collaborate with content teams and the Special Education Department to design curriculum and assessments appropriate for students of all ability levels.
8. Facilitate Response to Intervention Tier 2 and 3 instruction.
9. Participate in school improvement initiatives.
10. Participate in the problem solving team process of MTSS, and implement SEL curriculum and Tier 1 and 2 Social/Emotional supports.
11. Inform parents and students of academic and behavioral progress, concerns, and long-range expectations.
12. Analyze student academic data to improve individual student and school-wide performance.

PARAPROFESSIONAL (Prairie Hill AND Willowbrook Middle School)
Both Prairie Hill Elementary School and Willowbrook Middle School is looking to hire a paraprofessional. Responsibilities include:
Work effectively in a team environment providing responsive instructional and behavioral support to assigned student(s) in the general education setting
Effectively communicate with teachers and administration
Assist student(s) with classroom activities under the direction of certified teacher
Assist with instructional accommodations and modifications designed by special and regular education teachers
Work with special education students in academic course curriculum as outlined by teacher(s)
Assist with the behavioral management system under the direction of the teacher including daily charting of academic and/or behavioral progress
Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Candidates do not need the paraprofessional certification to start but must be prepared to attain licensure during the school year. Compensation is $14/hour, with retirement incentives, paid sick and personal days. MATERNITY LEAVE SUBSTITUTE (PRAIRIE HILL ELEMENTARY)
Prairie Hill Elementary School is looking for an energetic teacher to join our dynamic team from March 18th through the rest of the school year. Certified teacher preferred, but not required. The position will be for a current 4th-grade teacher. Job duties include:
1. Actively support the mission of the school and district, "Students First, Always."
2. Create and maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
3. Provide opportunities for all students to experience success, based upon their individual ability and potential.
4. Plan and implement lessons in accordance with the Illinois Learning Standards.

$135/day for the first 10 days then $196 throughout the maternity leave substitute position.

Registered nurse with current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Illinois.
Current CPR/AED Certification.
Experience in school setting preferred, but not required.
