They will perform their responsibilities so that a safe learning environment is provided for all students. Social Workers will also take pride in their work, building and district duties. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Participating in building/district special education team meetings and processes
Work to collaborate and plan with educational teams in support of academic, social-emotional, and behavioral interventions for students with and without disabilities through a multi-tiered system of support
Responsible for social work components in Evaluations, Individualized Education Plans, and 504 plans
Completion of evaluations and reports in a timely and efficient manner, as well as participation in IEP and 504 meetings
Involvement in crisis prevention and intervention
Provide social work services to students in individual and group settings
Provide guidance services as needed to general education students
Provide support to SEL District programs, including general education teachers and students
Support implementation of district policies and procedures, regulations, and administrative directives

Prairie Hill Elementary School is looking to hire a paraeducator. Responsibilities include:
Work effectively in a team environment, providing responsive instructional and behavioral support to assigned student(s) in the general education setting
Effectively communicate with teachers and administration
Assist student(s) with classroom activities under the direction of certified teacher
Assist with instructional accommodations and modifications designed by special and regular education teachers
Work with special education students in academic course curriculum as outlined by teacher(s)
Assist with the behavioral management system under the direction of the teacher, including daily charting of academic and/or behavioral progress
Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Candidates do not need the paraprofessional certification to start, but must be prepared to attain licensure within the first 40 school days and have a background check. Compensation is $15.75/hour with possible addition for experience, retirement incentives, paid sick and personal days.
