Computer Lab Activity Two

1) Open the saved HTML page from Lab Activity One.

2) Make a new page that is a blank in a tab.

3) Size the page so that it is 650 px wide.

4) Change the back ground color to a color of your choosing.

5) Create a table that is 2 cells by 2 cells.

6) Resize the cells in the following order:

•     cell 1,1 200px wide
•     cell 1,2 450px wide
•     cells 2,1 and 2,2 should be 'joined'

7) Change the background of each cell to a color of your own choosing.

8) Cut and paste text from another source (MSWord or the Internet) into cell 1,2

9) Title page and  save.  Name the file with your loggin name plus the number 2.  i.e.  zdebb2  (NVU will automatically add the extension .html)          Save it to: your name on server dc-1

10) Insert 2 pictures one into cell 1,1 the other into cell 2,1 (joined). Check the "URL is relative to page location" box.

11) Center text and images in each cell.   Change any font attributes to make it more readable.

12) Demo  your work in IE or Firefox   for teacher.
